(S)-BINAPINE is a chiral diphosphine ligand featuring 3,5-xylyl substituents on phosphorus and a bi-1,3-benzodioxole backbone. It forms exceptionally enantioselective rhodium complexes for hydrogenation of challenging substrates such as β-dehydroamino acid derivatives.
